Branch and Vine

We were designed to bare fruit. There were only two conditions required to make this happen. One depended on us and one was up to God. Abide in Me. It wasn't a command from Jesus. Or even a rebuke. It was an invitation. Abide in My love. It's almost like the word "come" was silently spoken before it. We are invited into the same place Jesus Himself inhabited here on earth. And still does. Because we are in Jesus and Jesus is in the Father there is a wrap around connection we are invited to partake of. With all of the nourishment from the Son and water (the Holy Spirit) we can't help but produce the sweetest fruit.

Branch and Vine is for abiding in His love. At first inhale there is a delicate high altitude fragrance. It is reminiscent of fresh jasmine and wild coffee blossoms catching a mountain breeze. Beneath this lies a deeper grounding layer of warm rustic baker's chocolate. there is ribbons of dark fruits. Giving off the syrupy scent of ripe plums and dark stewed blackberries. 

Upon first taste, the brew is very light, feeling clean and mild in acidity. No sharp edged or citrus bite are in the flavor. Yet it has a brightness that coaxes the palate awake. The first flavor is a floral sweetness almost like a tea. Then it deepens into a smooth comforting embrace of cocoa. The lingering hints of dark fruit stay on the taste buds. Faintly of macerated dark cherries and black currants. In an addicting whisper of sweetness that has you reaching for the next sip unconsciously.
