Awake My Soul

 Some days the thing standing between a zombified version of our sleepy selves and a functioning human being with thoughts and words and movement, is a great cup of coffee. And the coffee standing in that gap is Awake My Soul. Upon first sip the taste of toasted almonds and rich cacao greet you. Then the caramelized brown sugar. Subtle hints of crisp green pear lightens the cocoa base. Next a little hint of strawberry, flowed by the finish of white jasmine that lingers faintly. 

We need to become a human being before we can become a human doing. And we become that human being by being in His presence. Taking those moments to breathe in His breath of life. While waking up and taking our day to Him first. This ensures we enter our day fully alive and ready to be led By His Spirit and grace.
