Hazelnut

I have been looking forward to this coffee since yesterday. I dreamed about it all night. I remember the steam rising from my coffee cup with the scent of peanut brittle , heavy milk and chocolate. This intense, fatty nuttiness that created depth and layers to the steam and and gives it that rich expectancy. It has a rush of toasted buttery hazelnuts, tumbling into scorched brown sugar; creating an aroma so comforting yet wildly decadent that it makes my mouth water. I carefully take my first sip. Liquid velvet rushes in, coating every taste bud in a syrupy buttery goodness. The flavor is a total sensory engagement. Crushed hazelnuts drizzled in warm gooey caramel. With it, a smooth wave of creamy milk chocolate, and a sweetness that makes the coffee taste unbelievably complex and layered with wonder. The lingering aftertaste of sweet hazelnut cream and cocoa butter stay long after. Pulling me unconsciously in for another sip. Absolutely unforgettable.
