Answered Prayer

We all have that one prayer we've been praying for so long it's basically a fixture in our life. And we have been praying it for so long that we don't even realize it's been leaking the very faith we need to see it through to fulfillment. 

Faith is the absolute matter/substance/material of what effective prayers are made of. (Heb 11:1) But sometimes faith feels like it's a million miles away. Interestingly, shifting into faith can be as simple as imagining the answer happening. Though it may not happen exactly the way that we imagine. That's not even the point. The point is to move us into a place of expectation. From expectation we receive the thing that we have asked for by faith. Bill Johnson would say "Expectation in the breeding ground for miracles".
