Apple Cider Rooibos

The rain came down harder than before. It hadn't stopped all day. I pulled my sweater a bit tighter. It's the perfect day for my blanket and a movie. I still wanted something warm though. I suddenly remembered the unopened package laying on my console. 'That's it!' I thought as I quickly opened it and pulled out the Apple Cider Rooibos tea my mom sent me. I made a cup and settled back on the couch. I sipped as the beginning credits were rolling and sighed happily.

Leaving a clean lingering honeyed wood spice flavor.I savored the experience for a moment as I listened to the rain outside. Completely ignoring the movie. I was enjoying the moment of being warm and cozy. It was then that I remembered my bible was next to me. I grabbed it and it landed on this verse:

"In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you," 1 Thessalonians 5:18

I could feel His love there with me in the room. I felt seen and protected. I sipped my yummy cinnamon apple drink again and smiled His direction. "Thank You." I said out loud. I sat there a while longer, cup in hand. Rain still falling outside I don't know how long that movie stayed paused but I'm glad I got to share this with Him.
